In May 2009, Jean Copeland, Co-author of Exceed Preschool Curriculums passed away after an extended illness with ovarian cancer.  For over 40 years she was actively involved in educating young children; from her 25 years in the public school system to an additional 22 years providing four quality child care centers in Virginia.  Her mission was to encourage the highest standard of early childhood education in classrooms across the country.  It is our goal to continue “in her footsteps” by making available instructional materials for those who have a sincere desire to bring those standards into their classrooms.
